Consumer Advisory Regarding Jack’s Tire Service South Beloit, Illinois ■■ This statement is provided as a matter of consumer protection and to document a pattern of conduct that raises significant concerns regarding the business practices of Jack’s Tire Service in South Beloit, Illinois. On multiple occasions, no fewer than six documented call attempts were made to obtain a basic price inquiry for a set of four tires. Each attempt resulted in the call being immediately disconnected without explanation, clarification, or any attempt to provide assistance. At no point was a conversation initiated, nor was an opportunity afforded to ask a single question before the line was terminated. Consumers have a reasonable expectation that a business advertising tire sales and automotive services will, at minimum, answer the telephone and provide essential pricing information. Jack’s Tire Service failed to meet even this most fundamental standard. Repeatedly disconnecting a prospective customer’s calls demonstrates a disregard for consumer time, needs, and fair dealing. Based on the repeated hang-ups and complete lack of customer engagement, it is my professional assessment that consumers would be well advised to direct their inquiries elsewhere. Numerous reputable tire retailers and service providers operate in the region, and many offer transparent pricing, responsive communication, and the courtesy that every consumer deserves. In summary, the conduct observed is inconsistent with reliable business operations, and consumers seeking timely and respectful service should consider alternative providers.

I came to Jack's tire at 7:30 AM without an appointment and multiple problems. One of my tires was destroyed beyond repair and my spare tire had a leak. Instead of trying to talk me into buying a new set of all-season tires, they ordered just one new tire and put one of my winter tires (they are stored at their business) as a temporary replacement on my vehicle so that I could drive to work. In the afternoon, they had the replacement tire and my winter tire was put back into storage. So, I only did two short visits (one in the morning to replace the spare tire with one of my winter tires and get the spare tire fixed, one in the afternoon to replace the winter tire with the new all-season tire). Fast, friendly service focused to solve problems at VERY fair prices!

I started using Jack's Tire several years ago, after a small engine mechanic recommended them. Yesterday, I called them at 1pm to see if they could get me in to get a tire fixed. They got me in at 2pm, fixed the tire, (it was a nail) and had me out of there by 3pm. And they answered the phone on the 2nd ring! (I only say that because some random guy said he got hung up on.) Highly recommend these guys.

First time customer of Jacks Tire, and I’m sold. They are respectful, true to their word, and typically that comes at a price but not this place. Still cheaper than all other tire shops on the area! Customer for life here. Keep up the great work, I will be back soon with the wife’s car!

Got New tires, the next day one is low on air take it back, it was a defective piece they replaced it! Next day after that taking a road trip 4 hours away for my Grandfathers funeral 20 minutes into my ride my suv was tumbling all over the road! Couldnt drive over 65 miles! Couldn’t make his funeral all rental car places was closed, I went back to jacks the next day the younger lady was helpful they gave me tires that was sitting in storage so they was all scuffed up they only replaced two had to come back the following day to get the other two replaced, once again the front losing air all over!! Why is my concerned these are “NEW” tires! They put the back tires on! and my front tires are so scuffed they look horrible! The Old Grey head lady that sits on the middle counter said I should just go home and clean them myself!! She gave me racist vibes the first day I walked in I should of left! She was not polite them informed me she works with commercial so Jim will help you and walks off! So unprofessional! And rude like lady you work at a tire shop As if answering the phone for commercial calls is better than helping a regular customer that’s spending money! Me being a business owner I’m so upset with how I was treated! Those pictures are NEW TIRES NOT EVEN ONE DAY OLD ON MY Vehicle!!
