It was quite a day I was having. Having to deal with an unexpected flat tire in the middle of my work day (and lunch break) was not ideal, to say the least. However, the crew at the Northampton Pete’s Tire Barn turned it all around. They were phenomenal and so was their music choice in the waiting room. Listening to soothing Motown in a comfortable and friendly environment was exactly what I needed while dealing with life stress.
The staff were kind, friendly, comfortable and highly professional. They were clearly skilled, honest, knowledgeable, flexible and understanding about my situation.
There aren’t enough nice things to say. They solved my problem quickly and accurately. I was back at work in an hour. The staff were solely responsible for this. They balanced out a true life annoyance with their skill, friendliness and great music.
Thanks (again) to the crew at Pete’s Tire Barn. This is my second time going and each experience is better than the last. I won’t be going anywhere else for my tire servicing needs.

I have been to Pete’s Tire Barn in Northampton three times for new tires and needed to go today for a flat tire. What stands out to me is the amazing customer service. Today, they were a bit understaffed and the manager still fit me into the schedule, he was managing the front end and helping with cars, the work was done in a timely manner even though it was busy, and they did not even charge me for the problem (it was a faulty valve, not the tire at all). Great customer service and good work goes a long way!

The team at the Northampton Pete’s Tire Barn are an exceptional lot of people. They have been absolute heroes to our family on more than one occasion.
The first time was nearly a decade ago when my wife went to get a full tire change (all 4) and at the time she was pregnant with our daughter. As happens, hormones surged and my wife was crying in the waiting room. On that day, they gave her the tires and service free of charge because she was so upset, though obviously not at the folks working there, just in general.
The second time these folks came in clutch was yesterday. We popped a tire pulling into work and from there, we had our car towed to Pete’s. They sourced a tire within our budget, rotated our tires and got the job done immediately. I’m not going to disclose what they charged me but I can only say either their prices are exceptionally reasonable or they cut us a break because we were in there a month ago with another tire issue (nail) and they had just seen us.
Point is, if you’re local to this shop there’s simply nowhere else you should be bringing your car to get tire services. Always pleasant, great work, a staff that understands that if you’re in there you’re probably having a bad day, great prices and honest staff that shoot straight with you. Honestly a place could offer me free tires and I’d probably rather just go to Pete’s and pay. Outstanding local business!

Great customer service! I’ve been to Pete several times, so of course I went to them when my tire had a slow air leak. I walked in expecting to just make an appointment .They were able to fit me in at that time , they said it would take about 30 minutes. While waiting at the shop, they had the best music playlist and it was so great hearing some of the mechanics singing and their fellow coworkers laughing at them. It showed what a great work relationship they had. 30 minutes later, I was all set. I would highly recommend.
