I have been going here for years and have always been treated like a unique individual and received what I consider the best service available. They care about their customers and I don't feel like I'm just another number walking in the door. This time Ryan took care of me and he was excellent. He's very good at diagnosing problems. Would highly recommend Monro here in Manchester to anyone needing good mechanics who know what they are doing and don't give you the runaround. Very reasonably priced.

Monroe has been a hit or miss for myself - one time I went for an oil change and instead of draining the oil, they drained the transmission fluid on my Audi A4. Took 3 days to get my car back because they had to order the fluid to refill it. The service was free and they were very kind about owning up to the mistake so I continued to go back. Yesterday I took my car for an oil change and once I left, my oil light came on saying there was too much oil in the car. I went home and drained some of the oil (only drove about 20 miles) and when I drained it, the oil looked like it hadn’t been changed in 10k miles. I’m not saying they just topped off the oil (which would explain the max fill light), but it seems to be the case. Anyway, I paid $150 for an oil/filter change yesterday and I’m currently sitting in another dealer getting another $170 oil change. Price may be better, but not worth two oil changes in two days.

ZERO STARS!!!!! I made an appointment to have my battery checked out, an oil leak fixed and have an oil change done. Tell me why I paid $1000 to leave with more issues than I came in with. Firstly, I drop my car off at 9am Thursday morning. They said “no problem it’ll be fixed by 7pm” I call them around 4pm to let them know I will pick up the car at 7:30am Friday morning so I can go straight to work. I Uber there Friday morning and the kid tells me they are going to need 4 more hours to fix it because they didn’t even touch my car the day before. I’m livid at this point but what were my other options? So I call out of work AGAIN. All day I kept calling for updates and every time they would say “just wrapping up only need an hour before it’s done” then I would call an hour and half later and they would say the same damn thing! Finally my Boyfriends dad calls and magically the car is ready only 20 minutes later. I arrive to pick up the car and that’s when I call my boyfriends dad (he’s the previous owner of the vehicle and knows more about what the tech was talking about than I did) I had the tech explain everything to him over the phone that was done and explain why my car might still be leaking oil and why I could come back to get it fixed with them if I notice more oil. At this point I’ve already made up my mind not to come back- but wait it gets better! I get my spare key back, start my car and my dashboard is lit up like a Christmas tree! I call my boyfriends dad again and he told me to just drive away because at this point it’s not worth going back in there. As I’m on my way home I realize I cannot go more than 20 miles an hour otherwise my car starts to make a rattling ‘Boom boom boom’ noise that’s happening directly underneath my gas and brake pedal! I manage to get it home and at this point I’m beside myself with what to do. My car is fucked. I’m out 1k. I missed 2 days of work. And I’ve spent over $100 in Ubers just getting to the stupid auto shop. I’m taking this car to the dealership to fix whatever these guys messed up. Seriously don’t take your vehicle here, the people will waste your time and break your car 🥲 UPDATE: 5k for repairs

i’d give this location a zero star review due to the fact of rude customer service I had booked an oil change and a tire alignment with the tire alignment being on accident. All I needed was a tire rotation and the first employee was pretty respectful and then he went and talked to the other guy. The other guy was yelling about me having the tire Alignment and then he stormed in and said, and I “Brother I’ll do the oil change, but I’m not about to do the tire alignment as another hour and a half work and I am supposed to be out of here in 30 minutes!!!” He said this with a very aggressive tone, making me feel very uncomfortable in the space. I will definitely not Going back to get any service done here or recommending it to anybody in my family or any of my friends.

I don’t understand how this place got these good reviews. I would never refer anyone to this place! I went to them to just replace a bulb in one of my headlights. I purchased the bulbs myself from the information my mechanic of 13 yrs gave me. What should have taken 20 -30 mins. Took me 2 hrs. At first he told me I had the wrong bulbs which caught me off guard. I asked him which ones I needed he told me H11. I went to O’reilly auto and went right back to Monro to have them put in. He again told me I had the wrong ones. When I argued the point that those were the ones he said I needed ,he said he didn’t tell me that and that he said I needed HB3. He told me he put in a couple of bulbs that he had hanging around which he did not I paid him $20 and went back to O’reilly’s and told them what was going on and they looked it up and said I originally had the ones I needed. And the Great guys at O’reilly auto parts put them in for me in the parking lot.
