Mr. Breeden was very helpful and courteous. Tires were at a very competitive rate and was actually cheaper than Sam's club and Costco. Service was excellent . I'm very pleased with the service that I receive. Thank you !!

University Tire gives me a fair price for good work. Recently suggested my son take his Honda CRV there for repair, and a noise concern. I trust these guys, had light due to breaks not being properly bleed for 4 yrs, once they did my breaks no more light. Watched a customer come in and be rude and ridiculous with his demands. Not only did they offer to fix and look into issue, remained respectful when customer was rude, I can say you get fair price for good work.

These rip-off artists just completely scammed my husband. 400 dollars for a new car battery! 160 for labor! They charged him 79 dollars to remove the old battery and another 79 dollars to put a new one in! Something autozone does for FREE. And they didn't tell him there would be a labor charge until afterwards. 400 dollars for a car battery! I can't believe it!
Full story: His car had trouble starting this morning. We have AAA. I thought he did need a new battery, which AAA provides roadside service for (they quoted around 250 for a new battery including installation in the convenience of our driveway, by the way). But when AAA's tech got to our house and tested the battery, it was fine. He recommended a bench test at a mechanic just in case it was the starter which was good advice, so my husband took his car here to University Tire and Auto. I'm kicking myself for not going with him. These scammers not only talked him into getting a new battery, something he did NOT need (I saw the AAA battery test results screen myself, green and clear and good to go), but then, having conned him into an unnecessary battery purchase, they then also massively overcharged him for labor without telling him ahead of time. Predatory behavior. Heck, even if AAA's test was wrong and he did need a new battery, he could have just driven to autozone a few blocks away and gotten a new one for half that with free installation. Or called AAA again. Instead, 160 just for labor! For a battery! I am so angry.
Absolutely dishonest, predatory mechanic. How much are you going to get for reselling the perfectly good battery you just stole from a loyal customer, huh?

Needed quick tire fix, walked in at 9:30. No appointment. I was out in about an hour. Nice clean place with a hot cup of ☕️ coffee

I am not please with what my car got rejected for dirty lenses in the front, all it needed was to be clean and they wanted to charge me $200.00 "CRAZY" I think as been a woman we get taking advantage of my opinion!!!! Well I had it clean and it didn't cost me the $200 and I took it back and it passed the inspection, I understand it may needed to be clean cause it was dirty but the amount that they wanted to charge was outrageous!!
